Job summary

Walmart Vision Center in Grand Blanc, MI is seeking an experienced optical department leader. You will drive sales growth through strategic merchandising, pricing accuracy, and inventory oversight while ensuring high standards of customer service.

The role includes supervising staff, coordinating eye care services, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation. You will oversee precise eyewear measurements, fittings, and contact lens education under optometric supervision, while promoting brand

Qualifications

Two or more years of college completed or equivalent.
At least one year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience.
Two years of general work experience, including one year in optical and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead department sales growth through merchandising, pricing accuracy, inventory oversight and seasonal execution.
Forecast sales trends and align assortments with customer needs and local demographics.
Maintain HIPAA and safety protocols while ensuring accurate documentation and customer privacy.
Coach and develop the optical team, manage appointments, and coordinate with labs and optometrists.
