Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include completing 2+ years of college or 1 year retail plus 1 year supervisory experience, or 2 years general work with optical experience and a HS diploma.
• Active licensure/registration to meet eligibility for Vision Center roles.
• Active ABO certification.
• Experience in optical services or retail operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical department sales growth through merchandising, pricing, inventory oversight, and seasonal execution.
• Oversee precise eyewear measurements, fittings, and contact lens education under optometric supervision.
• Coordinate with labs, suppliers, and optometrists to ensure timely progress of orders and corrective actions.
• Manage appointment scheduling workflows, patient intake, insurance verification, and payment collection for doctor or telehealth services.
