Job summary

Walmart in Appleton, WI is seeking an optical professional to lead the Vision Center. You will drive sales by presenting merchandise, ensuring accurate pricing, and maintaining in-stock levels while delivering excellent customer service.

You will train associates, oversee compliance, and coordinate operations with stakeholders to meet community needs. You will advise Members on eyewear choices, verify prescriptions, perform minor frame repairs, and uphold confidentiality of records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in Vision Center with effective merchandise presentation and accurate pricing and in-stock levels.
• Provide guidance to Associates on CustomerMember service approaches to resolve issues.
• Oversee compliance with company policies and safety controls and coordinate job-related activities with stakeholders.
• Maintain and repair frames, verify prescriptions, and educate Members on eyewear selection.
