Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a General Manager to lead an eye-care office in Virginia. You will drive patient experiences, financial performance, and team development, partnering with doctors, vendors, and staff to create a best-in-class patient journey.

This role requires leadership, a service mindset, and the ability to manage operations, KPI performance, and HR policies. Some evening and weekend shifts are required; report to the District Manager.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or relevant years of management experience (Retail/Hospitality preferred).
• 2+ years in a leadership-facing role as the main decision maker.
• Experience leading two or more employees to achieve sales and operational objectives.
• Experience driving business and sales operations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication, detail orientation, and servant-leadership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster a purpose-driven team through recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training.
• Own the financial success of the office through KPI performance and coaching.
• Collaborate with doctors, home office support, and staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Deliver KPI results and coach other leaders and team members in real time.
• Maximize partnerships with optometric doctors and maintain strong relationships.
• Lead Doctor of Optometry partnerships and ongoing collaboration.
• Maintain HR policies to promote a productive, compliant workplace.
• Oversee performance development with the District Manager for all team members.
• Ensure optical merchandise meets patient standards and requests.
