Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead an optical office in Virginia. You will cultivate a collaborative team, manage patient experiences, and drive the financial performance of the practice while partnering with doctors and Home Office support.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a servant leadership style with a focus on results. Evening and weekend shifts may be required; the candidate should be committed to high service standards and patient

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or relevant years of experience in a management role.
• 2+ years in a leadership facing role as main decision maker.
• Experience leading two or more employees to achieve sales and operational goals.
• Experience driving business and sales operations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Effective communicator with attention to detail and leadership aligned with MyEyeDr. values.
• Servant leadership style with a drive for results and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willing to learn about optical office roles and services.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster a purpose-driven team through recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development.
• Own financial success of the office by driving KPI performance.
• Collaborate with doctors, home office support, and staff to ensure seamless patient experiences.
• Deliver KPIs with flawless patient experiences and provide in-the-moment coaching.
• Maximize optometric partnerships through coverage and doctor availability.
• Lead Doctor of Optometry business partnership and ongoing relationships.
• Maintain HR policies and compliant operations for staff and patients.
• Lead performance and development with the District Manager for all team members.
• Ensure optical merchandise meets standards and patient needs.
