Job summary

LensCrafters in Augusta, GA is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and act as a business owner within the community, driving KPIs such as sales, conversion and patient care.

This role requires an active Opticianry license, 1+ year of supervisory experience, strong English communication, and a commitment to coaching the team, maintaining store standards, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid state Opticianry license.
• 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes and policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Strong command of the English language for all written and oral communication.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Demonstrated high-level selling skills and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and drive KPIs.
• Assist in recruiting and developing a high-caliber team.
• Provide training and constructive feedback to staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain store appearance.
• Coordinate with doctors and store staff to optimize performance.
• Maintain flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends.
• Provide eyewear expertise and accurate digital measurements.
