Job summary

Grene Vision Group is seeking an Optometric Technician to support a world class Total Patient Experience. This role assists in preliminary testing and patient preparation for exams with an Optometrist.

The position values strong customer service, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn; prior optometric experience is preferred but not required. Full-time hours with potential scheduling flexibility are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Management preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; optometric experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients or equivalent experience.
• Favorable background check.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow.
• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and managers.
• Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
