Grene Vision Group seeks an Optometric Technician in Wichita, KS to assist with preliminary testing and patient flow under the supervision of an Optometrist. The role supports the Total Patient Experience and uses optical equipment to prepare patients for exams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Management preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and managers.
• Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in-person requests.
