Job summary

Grene Vision Group in Wichita, KS is seeking an Optometric Technician to assist doctors with preliminary testing and manage patient flow in a fast-paced clinic. This is a full-time, on-site position with training provided and a path to growth in eye care.

You will verify insurances, communicate with patients, doctors, and managers, and support scheduling while delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.
• Previous medical office or ophthalmic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and managers.
• Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in-person requests.
