LensCrafters is seeking a Part-Time Optometric Technician to deliver high-quality eye care alongside our optometrists. You will greet patients, prepare them for exams, gather medical history, and support the doctor with testing and data entry while maintaining HIPAA compliance. A customer-service background and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).
• Leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and display a professional image.
• Answer the telephone promptly in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations including gathering medical history and preparing patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; consult when necessary.
• Maintain patient records with HIPAA compliance and organize data accurately.
• Input patient data and services in the CIAO system with accurate fees.
