Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in related field.
• MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Optometrist with eye examinations and patient eye care.
• Gather patient information and document in the record.
• Explain exam process and pre-test procedures to patients.
• Take measurements and perform tests to assess visual capabilities.
• Educate patients on contact lens insertion and removal.
• Order contact lenses and manage trials inventory.
• Administer topical ophthalmic and dilation medications.
• Scribe for the doctor and translate as needed.
• Support patient flow and communicate with staff and doctors.
• Cross-train in other departments and support additional duties as assigned.
