MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients, performing preliminary testing, and handling measurements before exams. Training will be provided, and some weekend and evening shifts may be required to ensure patient flow.

You will collaborate with the doctor and team to deliver a best-in-class patient experience and maintain accurate medical documentation and screening procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with patients and document medical history accurately.
• Comfort with performing preliminary testing and screenings.
• Capacity to work with the Optometrist and support staff.
• Willingness to learn about optics, procedures, and equipment.
• Prior healthcare/optical background appreciated but not required; training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Consult with patients, document conditions, and chart medical history for the exam.
• Maintain a smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures they will encounter.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings for patients.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other prelim tests.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide a seamless patient experience.
