Job summary

Warby Parker seeks an Optometric Technician to assist doctors and deliver a stellar eye exam experience in our Marlton stores. You will conduct pre-testing, collect data, and support both in-person and video-assisted exams while ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a medical setting supporting doctors.
• Experience with eyewear and knowledge of features and benefits.
• Familiar with healthcare technology systems and equipment.
• Completion of Optometric Technician training or CPOT certification.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between doctor and patient, building rapport.
• Perform preliminary data collection including autorefraction, visual acuity, and eye pressure.
• Support in-person and video-assisted eye exams.
• Train staff on insertion and removal training for contact lenses.
• Assist with appointment confirmations and follow-ups to ensure a seamless experience.
• Maintain accurate patient data records and prepare reports.
• Ensure HIPAA/PIPEDA compliance and organize exam rooms with supplies.
• Support the retail team as directed by the Store Leader.
