Warby Parker in Cherry Hill Mall is seeking an Optometric Technician to work with our optometrists and deliver top-tier eye exams in a fast-paced retail setting. You will perform pre-testing, assist with contact lens training, maintain records, and ensure HIPAA compliance while supporting patients and the store team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a medical environment supporting doctors.
• Familiar with eyewear and eye care products.
• Working knowledge of healthcare technology systems and equipment (EMR, retinal cameras).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between doctor and patient, establishing rapport with eye exam patients.
• Perform preliminary clinical data collection (autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure, pupil testing, ocular motility, imaging).
• Support in person and video-assisted eye exams as available.
• Deliver insertion/removal training for contact lenses and train other team members.
• Assist with booking process and ensure seamless patient experience.
• Maintain organized exam room, replenish supplies, and keep equipment clean.
