Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and to manage key optical and lab processes where applicable. You will lead the team in retail duties, assist customers with selections, and act as an alternate store key holder, while ensuring quality and compliance in lab settings when needed.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and strong optical/retail experience, with emphasis on communication, problem solving, and leadership.

Qualifications

HS diploma/GED required.
Strong optical and retail experience.
Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise.
Strong communicator & listener.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong basic math skills.
Sales skills.
Problem solving ability.
Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
Leadership & training experience.
Edging & mounting experience.
Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer Service.
Proactive & solution driven, accurate execution & product knowledge.
Assists customers with selections, provides recommendations, assists sales associates.
Serves as a responsible alternate store key holder.
In lab, custom fits glasses and places prescription in lenses.
Works with associates to strengthen knowledge, skills, & certification for lens and lab tech.
Ensures finished eyewear meets optical standards & customer requirements.
Creates a safe working environment; responsible for basic operation and maintenance of lab tools & systems.
