Job summary

LensCrafters in Round Rock, TX seeks an Assistant Manager to lead in the Store Manager's absence and act as a business owner within the LensCrafters organization. You will drive key performance metrics and ensure exceptional customer care in the community.

This role requires training staff, delivering constructive feedback, managing store presentation, and coordinating with the medical team. A strong selling mindset and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence & oral communication.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Demonstrated high-level of selling skills.
• Proven ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality & improvement to exceed all key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Directs comp sales, conversion, customer count and retention goals.
• Maintains store profitability and traffic; supports growth objectives.
• Partner with store manager to lead & develop team.
• Delivers feedback and supports development with the Store Manager.
• Executes visual directives and maintains store appearance.
• Maintains positive relationships with doctors and patients.
• Promotes policy compliance and performs administrative duties.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights & weekends.
