Job summary

Olympia Vision Clinic, part of TeamVision within EssilorLuxottica, in Olympia, WA, is seeking a Full-Time Optician to deliver superior eyewear experiences to our patients. You will custom fit glasses, take precise measurements, and guide patients on lenses and frames while upholding our standards for service, accuracy, and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ABO Certification; must maintain currency.
• Knowledge of basic optics and dispensing eyewear.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills with tablet or computer.
• Familiarity with POS and patient record software.
• Openness to new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Custom fits glasses and precisely places prescription in lenses.
• Takes and records measurements; ensures eyewear meets standards.
• Explores patient needs by asking open-ended questions.
• Sells eyewear and accessories; stays on feet 80–100% of the time.
• Maintains clean, organized patient areas and protects assets.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures; supports team.
• Works weekends and evenings as needed.
