Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a friendly Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice. You will guide patients through eye health basics and the initial exam steps, working to ensure a simple, human and bold experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, introducing patients to the optometrist, and helping educate clients on products and services while supporting store operations and patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about eye health and preliminary testing.
• Able to guide patients from exam to sales floor with product recommendations.
• Maintain patient records and support exam lane maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services that meet eye care needs
• Execute store operations to support the exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones

Education

HS diploma, GED or equivalent
