Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice. You will guide patients through preliminary testing, explain eye health options, and connect them with our OD for a smooth exam experience.

In this role you will maintain accurate patient records, assist with exam lane operations, restock supplies, answer phones, and contribute to a welcoming, human and bold patient journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products/services to meet eye care needs.
• Support the store's exam lane with daily operational activities: restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
