Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients through eye health testing and product recommendations with a personable, bold approach. You’ll help transition patients from exam to sales floor and support a smooth patient journey in-store.

Role emphasizes eye health knowledge, preliminary testing, and helping customers look great and see great while delivering a welcoming experience.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Executeday-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including: restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs
