Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking a Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients through the first steps of the Visionworks experience with a human and bold approach.

The role requires handling patient records, coordinating with the OD, and supporting the sales floor with education on products and services to meet eye care needs, while performing routine store operations and frontline duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient service preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate customers on products/services for eye care needs.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support exam lane maintenance and patient experience, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
