Job summary

Visionworks in Burtonsville, MD is seeking a Part-Time Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to be the face of our store and ensure an excellent customer journey for every patient.

You will be trained in optics, products/services and managed vision care to meet eyewear needs in a simple, human and bold way. You will drive daily sales, engage with patients, recommend suitable products, and ensure eyewear fits correctly through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.
