Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our brand in-store. You will guide customers through the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple, human, and bold manner.

You will be responsible for achieving daily sales goals, engaging with customers, recommending products, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge through continuous training. This part-time role offers diverse benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience preferred (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Customer or patient experience is a plus but not required.
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engages with patients/customers and recommends products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measures patients/customers for eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge through ongoing training.
• Executes day-to-day store operations to support financial and customer experience goals, including restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment.
