Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through a seamless eyewear journey with expert optics knowledge and a friendly, human approach.

You will drive daily sales, engage with customers to recommend solutions, ensure right-first-time ocular fittings, and support in-store operations while maintaining product expertise and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent
• Related customer or patient experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continuous training
• Support store operations including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear
