Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our stores, guiding customers through the Visionworks experience with expert product knowledge and a friendly, bold approach.

The role emphasizes achieving sales goals, educating patients on eyewear options, and ensuring high-quality service in a dynamic retail environment. Part-time hours and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience is preferred, but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through training to ensure eyewear is right the first time.
• Execute day-to-day store operations including restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment.
