Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in eyewear. You will assist customers with frame selections, take measurements, and coordinate lens prescriptions to provide a high-quality experience in-store.

As a member of the LensCrafters team, you will engage with patients, use POS systems, and work toward sales goals while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills.
• Embrace new technology with accuracy.
• Ability to sell through strong sales skills and meet goals.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Uses optical prescription to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with measurements.
• Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff.
• Maintain an attractive, organized store display and inventory.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
