Job summary

LensCrafters, part of Luxottica, is the premier optical retailer with over 900 locations. The Sales Associate sets the standard for eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient has the best experience in LensCrafters every time.

Responsibilities include delivering sales, recommending lenses, assisting with frame choices and performing measurements with optical tools, while maintaining a welcoming store environment and professional relationships with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills.
• Embrace new technology with high accuracy.
• Ability to sell through strong sales skills and meet goals.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Self-motivator with ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assists patients in frame selection and coordinates frames with optical measurements.
• Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with Optician as needed.
• Participates in maintaining a positive store environment and professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff.
• Takes pride in store appearance and keeps displays and inventory organized.
• Helps foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
