Job summary

AEG is seeking a skilled Optician who delivers exceptional eyewear solutions and patient care. You will help patients choose frames and lenses aligned with prescriptions, lifestyle, and style, while ensuring accurate lens dispensing and frame fit.

You’ll use tools like pupilometers and lensometers, interpret prescriptions, and educate patients on care, warranties, and insurance coverage. A focus on quality and service drives loyalty and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering patient-centric eyewear solutions.
• Knowledge of frame fittings, lens types and coatings.
• Understanding of insurance basics and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and accessories.
• Enter prescription data into the EHR and ALE system with accuracy.
• Ensure proper frame fit and perform eyewear adjustments or repairs.
• Educate patients on eyewear care, warranties, and coverage options.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the eyewear area and displays.
• Communicate with technicians and managers to track orders and updates.
