Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a General Manager to lead an optical care office and partner with doctors, vendors, and teams to deliver personalized patient experiences. You’ll own the office’s success, including patient experience, financial performance, and people development, reporting to the District Manager.

Some evenings and weekends may be required. You will recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensure HR compliance, and drive operational excellence across all functions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or relevant years of experience in a management position (Retail/Hospitality strongly preferred).
• 2+ years in a leadership facing role serving as the main decision maker.
• Experience leading two or more employees to achieve sales and operational objectives.
• Experience driving business and sales operations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Strong communicator who demonstrates company values and mentors the team.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard a purpose-driven team with ongoing training and development.
• Own the financial success of the office by driving KPI performance.
• Collaborate with doctors, home office support, and staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Deliver KPIs with flawless execution of patient experiences and coach others in real time.
• Maximize Optometric partnerships through coverage, doctor availability, and walk-in management.
• Lead Doctor of Optometry business partnerships and ongoing relationships.
• Maintain HR policies and compliance for a productive, safe work environment.
• Lead performance and development with District Manager for all team members.
• Ensure optical merchandise meets standards and patient needs.
