LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality patient care. You will link doctor and retail functions while supporting pre-exam testing, lens and frame selection, and order processing.

Role emphasizes patient-centric service, accurate records, and compliance with HIPAA, with opportunities in a fast-paced retail optical environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds.
• Answer the telephone promptly (3 rings).
• Explain required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with care.
• Handle and file patient records per HIPAA.
• Operate the POS system with accuracy.
• Explain 1-hour processing and delivery times.
• Maintain store appearance and displays according to guidelines.
• Respond quickly to promotions with staff communications.
