Job summary

EssilorLuxottica's EyeCare Advisor role focuses on delivering the LensCrafters Experience by greeting customers, guiding lens and frame choices, and ensuring top quality optometric care in the store.

You will support both the doctor and retail teams, manage patient records per HIPAA, operate the POS system, and help with orders, payments, and timely delivery while upholding brand standards and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly (within 30 seconds).
• Answer the telephone promptly (3 rings) in a friendly manner.
• Explain required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with care.
• Operate the POS system with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Process contact lens orders and invoices.
• Keep store displays aligned with brand guidelines.
