Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality optometric care. You will greet customers, explain paperwork and tests, and support both patient care and store operations with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include product knowledge, assisting with frame and lens selections, scheduling, HIPAA-compliant records handling, and POS transactions. Prior retail/optical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Answer the phone within 3 rings in a friendly manner.
• Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information for accuracy and identify needs.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to vision, lifestyle, and budget.
• Operate the POS system and process payments accurately.
