AEG is seeking an Optical Consultant who will work with Optometrists to support patient care and education, ensuring patients receive exceptional service. You will help patients select frames, lenses, and treatments, and manage order status with care and accuracy.

You will maintain knowledge of products, warranties, and insurance, while using EHR and ALE systems to document prescriptions and orders, and ensuring fit and comfort of eyewear.

Qualifikationen

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MS Office, Windows, and Word Processing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Collaborate with co-workers and patients.

Aufgaben

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient and explains customized recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings based on needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, rebates, lenses and frames.
• Enter prescription information into EHR and ALE system and attach to patient chart.
• Follow up on pending orders and inform patients of status or delays.
• Dispense glasses and ensure proper fit and comfort.
