Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking a Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the friendly face of our exam practice, guiding patients through the first steps of eye care and handling preliminary testing.

You will introduce patients to the OD, explain products and services, and support day-to-day operations with a focus on patient experience. A HS diploma or GED is required for this part-time role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience preferred
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products/services
• Support exam lane operations: restock inventory, clean equipment, answer phones
