Job summary

Visionworks in the United States is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice. You will conduct preliminary testing, guide patients through eye care options, and ensure a welcoming, human and bold experience as you coordinate with OD staff.

Ideal candidates have HS diplomas or equivalent, with customer service experience and a passion for helping people see better.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate and recommend products/services that meet eye care needs
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs
