LensCrafters in Alameda, CA is seeking a Part-Time EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality optometric care in a retail setting.

You will greet customers, assist with lenses and frames, process orders, handle POS transactions, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA, while delivering outstanding service and supporting store performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds.
• Answer the telephone promptly in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; coordinate with Optician or Management when necessary.
• Show patience and courtesy to indecisive or difficult customers and patients.
• Operate the POS system accurately and handle payments following security procedures.
• Explain 'One Hour' processing and delivery times.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure displays follow guidelines.
• Handle patient records in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Support the Doctor's office with pre-examination testing and inventory management.
