Job summary

LensCrafters in Menlo Park, part of EssilorLuxottica, is hiring an EyeCare Advisor. You will deliver the LensCrafters Experience, greet customers promptly, explain tests and services, and ensure accurate patient records in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

You will assist with contact lens care, frame and lens recommendations, and operate the POS system for payments. This role emphasizes excellent service, product knowledge, and teamwork with clinicians and store staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems.
• Organizational skills and math aptitude essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds and assist with questions.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products and services to customers.
• Maintain patient records in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Assist with contact lens orders and inventory management.
• Operate POS system for payments and transactions.
• Support pre-examination testing and doctor/nurse coordination.
