LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality Optometric care. You will link doctor and retail functions to enhance patient experience. You will greet customers, explain paperwork, review prescriptions, assist with frames and lenses, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Answer the telephone within 3 rings.
• Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions carefully; consult with Optician/Management when necessary.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant filing of patient records.
• Place contact lens orders, process shipments and submit invoices.
• Operate the POS system and assist with transactions.
• Explain One Hour processing and delivery times.
• Keep store displays updated per company guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Assist customers in frame and lens selection based on vision, lifestyle, and budget.
• Provide care guidance for contact lenses.
