Job summary

LensCrafters in Pasadena, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an EyeCare Advisor who delivers the LensCrafters Experience, ensuring high-quality optometric care and flawless patient interactions. You will link doctor and retail functions, greet customers, explain procedures, and support contact lens care in a fast-paced store.

You will handle prescriptions, schedule, and billing while maintaining HIPAA and delivering exceptional service with attention to detail and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and store merchandise.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds.
• Answers the telephone promptly (3 rings) in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information, consulting with staff when necessary.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant records and store organization.
• Operates POS system for transactions and processes payments securely.
• Provides coaching to patients on contact lens care and products.
• Keeps store displays and promotions up to date.
