Job summary

LensCrafters in Los Angeles is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience, ensuring patients receive high-quality optometric care and a seamless doctor-retail workflow in-store.

You will greet customers promptly, explain products and services, review prescriptions accurately, and support both eyewear sales and clinical tasks while maintaining HIPAA compliant records and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external)
• Knowledge of current fashion trends
• Strong communicator and listener
• Problem solving ability
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators

• Strong basic math skills
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise

Responsibilities

• Greets customers without delay
• Promptly answers the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services
• Reviews prescriptions and/or patient information carefully; identifies special needs and consults with Optician/Managing Doctor as needed
• Shows patience and courtesy to indecisive or difficult customers and patients
• Performs work accurately and thoroughly under time pressure and high customer volume
• Operates the POS system with accuracy and follows payment procedures
• Maintains store appearance and visual displays per guidelines
• Keeps patient records organized and compliant with HIPAA
