Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the friendly face of our Exam Practice. You’ll guide patients through initial eye-care steps, sharing knowledge on eye health, optics and managed vision care to ensure a smooth, human experience.

You’ll maintain patient records, introduce patients to the OD, move them to the sales floor, and support exam-lane operations such as restocking and cleaning.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate/recommend products and services.
• Support day-to-day operational activities such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
