Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking a charismatic Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients through the initial vision care journey with warmth and clarity. This role performs preliminary testing, gathers patient information, and ensures complete records while facilitating smooth handoffs to the OD.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient nformation
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Executeday-to-dayoperational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including: restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs
