Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an EyeCare Advisor in Grand Rapids to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will greet customers, explain tests and procedures, and coordinate with optometrists and retail management to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities include handling prescriptions, maintaining patient records, and processing payments while upholding HIPAA guidelines and store standards.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external)
• Knowledge of current fashion trends
• Strong communicator and listener
• Problem solving ability
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators

• Strong basic math skills
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and provide friendly service.
• Answer phone calls quickly and courteously.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with attention to detail.
• Coordinate with Optician/Doctor or Retail Management as needed.
• Assist in device demonstrations and product selection.
• Maintain patient records per HIPAA guidelines.
• Process orders and invoices for payment.
• Operate the POS system accurately and securely.
