Scheels in Springfield, IL is seeking a Visa Program Specialist who can confidentially process VISA applications, complete registrations, and answer customer questions with in‑depth knowledge of the program. The role includes organizing training for new and existing Visa Specialists, Cashiers, and Sales Associates.

You will maintain materials and signage, promote the VISA program across the store, and coordinate Card member Appreciation Days with the bank and Scheels Corporate Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate’s degree or 1–2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to handle confidential information and customer privacy with care.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality and respect for privacy while processing VISA applications.
• Accurately process VISA applications, complete registrations, and answer customer questions.
• Coordinate and deliver training for new and existing Visa Specialists, Cashiers, and Sales Associates.
• Maintain and restock VISA materials, including signage and information pamphlets.
• Promote the Scheels VISA Program with signage and encourage participation by store teams.
• Organize Card member Appreciation Days and other promotions per bank and corporate standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Present information clearly to associates and respond to questions or feedback.
• Meet Visa program requirements, track logs and monthly goals, and coordinate compliance.
