Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a motivated Tax Preparer to assist TurboTax customers nationwide from a remote role in the United States. You will provide expert tax advice, perform full-service return preparation, and explain tax concepts in plain language using video interactions.

You will use TurboTax and other company resources, document interactions, and meet KPI targets while completing required training. Must be licensed, PTIN active, and willing to work at least 20 hours weekly; bilingual

Qualifications

• 2+ years of federal and state individual 1040 tax returns for 30+ clients per season.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active PTIN required.
• Knowledge of Circular 230.
• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Proficient with technology; comfortable with video interactions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation and signature.
• Assist TurboTax customers via video chat using Smartlook.
• Explain tax concepts in everyday language.
• Document customer interactions and meet KPI metrics.
• Complete required training and compliance courses.
