Job summary

The Standard in the United States is seeking a Virtual Relationship Manager II to serve a dedicated book of advisors and employers virtually, delivering best-in-class service and driving growth and client retention.

You will cultivate primary relationships with advisors and channel partners, provide plan design and investment advisory services, coordinate enrollment and education activities, and support plan enhancements while communicating regulatory updates and industry changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience is required.
• 5+ years demonstrated relationship management experience in retirement plans with ERISA knowledge.
• Transfer Series 6/7 (with Series 63 where applicable) or Series 65 license within 90 days of hire.
• Licenses required as part of the position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage effective primary relationships with advisors and channel relationships through regular contact and proactive communication.
• Manage standalone plans and Private Label PEPs.
• Coordinate with customers and home office departments to initiate plan improvements and resolve issues.
• Provide plan design consulting, investment advice, and due diligence reports as needed.
• Drive client retention by delivering value-added information and conducting virtual plan reviews.
• Coordinate installation of new groups with advisors and sponsors, including data collection and enrollment processes.
• Deliver enrollment, re-enrollment, and education activities, including scheduling and conducting virtual meetings.
• Participate in sales presentations as a relationship manager when requested.
• Promote new products and services to employers.
