Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its team of registered dietitians to deliver expert, compassionate virtual nutrition care for midlife and menopausal patients. You will set your own schedule while joining a multi-specialty care model that includes a medical provider and therapist for integrated care.

You will conduct synchronous video visits, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and guide patients through multi-week programs.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD/Nutritionist (RDN) with license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal patients.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan and outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to support sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits on the Pomelo platform.
