Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Supervisor for the Virtual Patient Observation program to lead daily operations, supervise observers, manage admissions, and coordinate staffing across the VPO unit.

This role focuses on maintaining quality documentation, supporting process improvements, and upholding patient safety while collaborating with nursing and IT teams in a dayshift schedule (two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts weekly, every other weekend).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Virtual Patient Observers.
• Manage admissions to the VPO program.
