Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• BLS to be completed in orientation.
• Customer service skills required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to focus on a task for an extended period of time.
• Ability to analyze, synthesize patient care information to formulate patient specific care recommendations.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in healthcare or service-related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains visual observation of patients at all times.
• Verbal redirects patient over digital 2-way audio device in patient room.
• Summons nursing staff immediately if patient requires assistance.
• Participates in identifying and reporting patient safety issues.
• Adheres to safety rules and maintains safe work practices in a High Reliability Organization (HRO).

This position is to ensure consistent and appropriate oversight of a patient demonstrating behaviors that put him/her at risk for treatment interruption, or a nonviolent patient with frequent needs for assistance.**Responsibilities And Duties:** Maintains visual observation of patients at all times. Verbally redirects patient over digital 2-way audio device that is in patient room. Immediately summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Participates in a collaborative identification and reporting of patient safety issues. Demonstrates safe work practices and attitudes, follows safety rules, and works to prevent unsafe conditions and behaviors.
