The role handles complex account and loan interactions via phone and digital channels, using consultative sales and service processes to meet members' financial goals.

The incumbent opens, maintains accounts, processes loan requests, and supports online new accounts; cross-sells platform products and maintains up-to-date product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of experience in Member Service, banking, new accounts and lending.

Responsibilities

• Opens and maintains consumer and business deposit accounts including savings, checking, certificates, and specialty accounts.
• Conducts engaging sales and service conversations to uncover financial goals and lending needs; completes loan applications and explains lending process.
• Cross-sell products such as checking, savings, credit cards, loans, CDs and Money Markets; make referrals to insurance, investments and mortgage.
• Builds knowledge of TDECU products and services to cross-sell.
• Document interactions with insights for personalized service and future opportunities.
• Ensure compliance and complete mandatory testing; follow Bank Secrecy Act procedures.
